Emergencies
If you believe your pet has a condition which is threatening
his/her well-being, please call us immediately at 856-728-1400
(and press “1” for immediate assistance). A member
of our Health Care Team will help assess the situation and
determine whether your pet needs to be evaluated by our Emergency
Staff.
The Regional Veterinary Emergency Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We never stop caring. If your dog or cat has an emergency, we are here to help.
COMMON EMERGENCY SITUATIONS INCLUDE:
TRAUMA: Bite wounds, broken bones, burns,
excessive bleeding, hit by car, the inability to walk, etc….
INGESTION OF: A foreign object OR toxic
substances such as antifreeze, chocolate, onions, certain
plants and flowers, raisins, rat poison, etc…
SIGNS OF ILLNESS: Coughing, sneezing, excessive
thirst, excessive urination, difficulty breathing, weakness,
not eating, vomiting, diarrhea, swollen abdomen, inability
to urinate or defecate, limping, losing weight, etc…
